Am thinking new ES should be between $35,000-37,000. And the hybrid will be cheaper than ES350. I am betting the hybrid will be around $35,000.

What yall think. Lets have a game as to see what you guys think the price should be :p

The hybrid will be more expensive without a doubt. Look at every other Toyota/Lexus product with a hybrid option...when has the Hybrid ever been cheaper?

My guess is $38k base for the gas one, $41k base for the hybrid. Fully loaded the 350 will be $46k or so, the hybrid right under $50k.

One of the early reviews that are out now said the hybrid will be something like $2k-$3k higher than the 350.

If we look at what the engine choices are for the Camry for 2012 and discount the base 4 cylinder as not being apropos in the North American Market for the 2012 ES you find this:

2012 Base MSRP for 2012 Toyota Camry:

Camry XLE V6 - $30,115

Camry XLE Hybrid - $27,500

So the 2012 Camry Hybrid with the same power plants as the 2012 ES is priced some $2600 less than the corresponding V6 version. I believe there will be a comparable gap with the 2012 ES300 and ES350.

There is no 4 Cyl version of the ES to compare though.

We'll have to wait and see, but I'd bet you money on this one.

I hate 2013 ES 350 console, looks ugly, seems like they are moving towards Camry interior. Obviously much better quality, but looks more and more like camry.

From one of the reviews of the new ES. The prices are estimates so the actual prices might be different:

2013 Lexus ES300h
On sale: August 2012
Base price: $40,000 (est.)
Engine: 2.5L I-4 gas/electric hybrid, 200 hp (net)

I don't know what Camry you're looking at, but I have never seen a Camry with an interior like that LOL.

If anything, this is the least Camry-ish ES ever.

It does - See my post from another thread:

With the release of the 2013 Avalon, it's pretty clear to me that the 2013 ES is riding on the same chassis. Wheelbases are the same @ 111.0" the ES is a trifle shorter, a bit narrower, but also a bit heavier.
