Fuel tank capacity
 

Hi everyone.
I just purchased a 2017 ES350 Base with 17k km. I just filled up the tank (it was empty) for the first time and fuel in litres in gas pump showed 51.405 (full).
If it is 64.5 Litres like the manual shows then how is there such a huge discrepancy? Whwn empty fuel tank showed 7km left of driving?

Your tank wasn't empty. I don't know the exact amount of reserve capacity but don't trust the numbers. I bet you had exactly the difference between the listed capacity and what you put it left in it.
I think it's around 18 US gallons (3.8 liters is one gallon, roughly)... I like the range on this car.

I would think the engineers designed the fuel gauge with a margin of error.
