Do the front joints need to be replaced?

My friend had his car inspected and it was recommended that he should replace the front joints and the swaybar endlink.

Based on the pics I do see the joints are leaking, but from what I read online that does not always mean that they need to be replaced? What would be the test to know when to replace them?

These are the pics of the joints

And this is the pic of the swaybar endlink

What about the swaybar endlinks? any urgency to replace them? what would be test to know when they need replaced?

Thank You

You can drive forever with leaking ball joints, sway bar end links, or struts etc.

But as they wear out more it puts more stress on the other suspension components associated with it.

You might change it if you feel the ride is getting too rough or the noises get too annoying,

Also depends on mileage and make and model of car. Subaru known for bad design maybe shot in 20k , Mazda maybe 75k Lexus can last 90-300k
