New Tires
It was time to replace the Michelin's my car originally came with. For the record, I have 17" rims by choice. I am not a fan of the 18" as the roads around here in NY are not that great.
They had a bit of tread time left with 37,000 miles on them, but they are 7 years old. Also the owner of a local independent Porsche shop I'm friendly with asked me to do some work at his house, and was happy to work it out for his cost. I had Pirelli P7 AS Plus 3 put on my ES350 Saturday. They are very quiet and hold the road very well so far, the wife took it to work in the rain today and was satisfied. I like them quite a bit more than the original Michelin's, but to be fair they had 18,000 miles when I bought the car. |
I have the same tires on my car too! Biggest issue I had was sourcing them as they seem to always be out of stock or on backorder. Haven't had any issues with it and replaced the OEM Michelin MXM's.

I have put about 1,000 miles on the Pirelli P7 AS Plus 3. I have no regrets about these tires. I have driven through heavy rains and standing water, and they handle wet roads very well. I love the ride, they grip well wet or dry, and are much quieter than the original Michelin tires. It's still a couple of months before I see how they do in the snow, although we usually use our other AWD car in the snow and the ES350 after the plowing is done.
