Default TPMS (Tire Pressure Warning Light)

2008 ES 350. Colder weather and the warning light is on. Filled all 5 tires to spec. But warning light didn't go off like it usually does.. Drove around a bit and warning light still doesn't go off. Pushed TPMS reset button under the steering wheel with car ignition on but not running (like manual says), but warning light never blinked 3 times (actually just kept blinking, then solid). Tried same thing with engine running, no difference. Light still on. Owners manual says there is a button inside the glove box for main or 2nd---not there in my car that I can find, anyway. PITA. Anyone got any other ideas?

Dead sensor. They're battery powered and eventually the battery goes flat.

I've got an easy fix for you. Put some black electrical tape over the light so you don't see it again. It's likely you have one or more dead sensors. The cost to have them replaced and repogrammed is well over $500. Not worth it IMO.

Another poster showed how they did a more permanent fix:

I bought sensors from ALI, OEM, 11 dolara each, installed them and all good for more years to come.
