P0333 - Knock Sensor 2 High Bank

Received this code about 2-3x while driving the car the past month or so .... the car engine 'shuttered' both at low speeds right before the sensor tripped. Wondering if there is any way to debug this, given it is intermittent?

I thought it may had been a bad tank of gas, but received it again, doesn't seem to be persistent however. Any ideas?

Many thanks

Maybe the knock sensor is on it's way out?

Possibly. Basic internet research has shown me that it is both expensive and hard to access ... trying to avoid it if possible. Engine seems to be running fine otherwise, so I may just let sleeping dogs lie.

Hello!
I have a 2003 Lexus ES300. I recently had the knock sensors bank 1 and 2 replaced, due to lack of power and code P0330. Upon the mechanic evaluating the codes the off trac and vcs lights came on. They did confirm the lights were not on when I brought it in and promised they would make sure all lights were fixed. After hiring them to replace the 2 knock sensors I picked up my car and the off trac and vcs lights were still on and after driving approximately one mile the check engine light came back on, so I drove to O'Reilly's and had them run a check on it and it was the same codes P0330 knock sensors bank 1 and 2.
After bringing the car back they thought perhaps there was an issue with the computer, so they recommended In take it to a Toyota Shop for deeper diagnosis. I did with two different Toyota Shops and got clearance with the computer they both said it was the two knock sensors. However they did say it could be a false reading.....
Can someone please help me with this?
Thanks!!!!
