Cool Will Navigation Stereo Unit fit non-stereo models???

Saw a great deal on Ebay, people selling their navigation head units on line.

My car was a 2010 non-navigation model
Will it fit? Will there be any issues? Anything will not function properly?

the work + time involved might not be worth it. Now, is it possible; I believe so. I would highly recommend going aftermarket double din such as pioneer or various android DD's.

Problem with non-navigation model is that
1. the double din slot sits so low and so close to shifter ****, it is not safe to operate while driving.
2. The stereo frame had terrible design, and the space for retrofitting an aftermarket double din is almost non-existing.

I agree with your assessment as to location and horrible design. At the end, what you want should be based on money, effort, and time. I am pretty sure that such conversion is feasible but one needs to ask as to the cost. Regardless, wish you luck and keep us posted.

It will physically fit but none of the wiring will be compatible. That being the case it will take a lot of time and money to replace the wiring harness along with getting the nav. antenna and parts.
