My Lexus 4 months on
 

Well I thought I'd give a short report back after having my 2014 Lexus for 4 months. I probably only drove it for about 1000kms given the current situation. I did have some issues which I should have probably addressed with the dealer but was to lazy.
The one was a vibration at 80-100km/hr and I got the wheels balanced and that didn't solve the problem. I took it to the dealers fitment centre who fitted the tires and had THEM balance it for a 2nd time and THAT actually solved it. Then there was a judder when I applied the brake. I had to get the brake discs skimmed and that sorted out that problem !

The tires on the car are Maxtrek Maximus (Chinese brand and I know it's not the Yokohama Decibel). It appears to be a noisy tire.

Besides that the car's fine and so it should stay. I'm still getting used to the higher than average fuel consumption when compared to my 2.0L Honda Accord. I seem to be able t get 700km to a tank (60L). On the Honda I could get 800 (70L)
