Tweeter Speaker wires.
Hey guys, I was trying to figure which color for the speaker wires on the tweeters is positive and negative. Is the green wire positive and black one negative. Or the other way around?
I wanted to know because on the new tweeter I got, the positive is ornage and negative is black. Orange is left and black right. But the stock harness has black on left and green on right. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...6a4d78a147.jpg |

Did you figure it out? Here is the old battery test method.

orange is positive. if you look close on the speaker, you can see a + sign
check the speaker you are replacing for similar markings, otherwise do the battery test if the colors in the upload don't match |
Yea I figured it out. Black went with black and the orange connected to the green. The speakers are really nice, I know you got the same ones for your es. I did these for my left and right. I want to get a single one for the center but my ml is working fine right now.

Did they drop right in for your dash left and right positions? |
Believe it or not, they also were not a direct fit with the left and right either. I just put the screw down and held it tight against the mount. I also had to bend the edges to make it fit in the car itself.
