Default Replace rear brake dust shield?

So the other day my rear driver side brake dust shield had fell off due to rust.

is it worth replacing at this point when the car is 12 years old with 240kkm? I do plan to run the car to the ground, just not sure whether it is necessary to replace that dust shield.

Also couldn't find any guides on how to replace it. I am assuming the hub assembly needs to be removed? Would this be a simple job or several hours?

If anyone has a link to a guide somewhere that would be great!

Thanks,

Do not fix it. Enjoy your ride while it lasts and wonder what part will rust and fall off next. The joys of owning an aging vehicle.
