Airbag recall - questions
 

Hi All,
I have the Takata passenger airbag recall scheduled for next weekend for my 2011 ES350 Ultra Premium. From what I have seen, it seems to be a fairly involved process which involves opening up most of the dashboard.

I am worried that the fit and finish after the recall will not be what it is right now. Currently there are no creaks and everything is lining up correctly.

Also wanted to know if there will be a dashboard recall in Canada? My car is showing signs of the issue but there is no recall shown when I punch in the VIN.

Would love to hear your experiences/thoughts!

I had my airbag done on in '07 in 2017. I was worried about the dashboard not fitting right or getting noisy as well, but my fears were unfounded. They did a great job. Car is still quiet and I haven't noticed any gaps.

Had our 2010 done 2 weeks ago and no problems . Seems it was a pretty simple job .
