there is no timing belt. So it is just fluids I think. Lexus.com and enter your mileage.

Radd, LexsCTJill already gave you the perfect place to start, but let me assist..

1. Go to Lexus.com.
2. Click on "Owners" in the top right corner.
3. On the right side, click on the drop down menu, under I WANT TO and choose "See Maintenance Schedule".
4. Enter your vehicle model and year, then choose your mileage from the drop down list under SERVICE MILEAGE, then click SUBMIT.

You'll get a list of things to inspect and replace. For your car at that mileage, it looks like you'll be replacing fluids, filters, and plugs. You can buy all the parts (or get the part numbers) from a local Lexus dealership.

Hey Radd, have you taken a look at the owner's manual, specifically the "Warranty and Services Guide"?

https://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/d...MS-08ES350.pdf

For convenience:

❏ Replace engine oil and oil filter; reset reminder light
❏ Rotate tires
❏ Measure thickness of brake pads and rotors; measure rotor runout (GS, IS, LS)
❏ Replace air conditioner filter
❏ Replace brake fluid
❏ Replace engine air filter
❏ Replace spark plugs (for ES 350, use Denso FK20HR11 plugs or equivalent)
❏ Visually inspect brake pads and rotors
❏ Road-test vehicle
❏ Inspect the following:
___Axle shaft boots ___Ball joints and dust covers
___Body ___Brake lines and hoses
___Drive belt ___Engine valve clearance (SC)
___Exhaust pipes and mountings ___Front differential oil (GS 350 AWD, IS 250 AWD)
___Fuel lines and connections, fuel tank band and fuel tank vapor vent system hoses

Additional Maintenance Required

If You Drive Primarily Under the Following Conditions

Driving on dirt roads or dusty roads:
❏ Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis

Driving while towing:
❏ Replace transmission fluid (ES only; use type ATFWS or equivalent)
❏ Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis (ES)
I'd suggest going to a site like this one to find part numbers: https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/2008-l...350-parts.html

Good luck!

The coolant needs to be changed at 100,000 miles. The brake fluid is changed every 30,000 miles. So at 120,000 miles, it is due along with an oil change that is done every 10,000 miles.

Other than regular oil changes, the only thing that should be replaced are spark plugs. Unless broken, all other items are "nice to have" IMO. This is my opinion, and one should do with their car what they want

If you need my credentials to confirm validity of my opinion, send me a DM

If not done already, Coolant, brake fluid, and power steering fluid flush. I would check the color of the ATF fluid and either do a flush or drain/refill, and definitely replace the ATF filter. The ATF filter in the ES350 is of felt material and will clog up in time. I replaced the ATF filter in wife's ES350 at 120K and it was black and very dirty - and her driving style is very gentle.

Another item to consider replacing is the alternator decoupler pulley. Ours seized at 155K and fried the alternator. This was due to fretting corrosion. Gates recommends replacing every 100K - the maintenance schedule doesn't even mention this pulley.

The ES350 comes with Iridium spark plugs (I think by Denso), and Toyota recommends replacing them at 120K. I would recommend 100K because the gap at 120K will be quite large; I'm gonna guesstimate it to be over .060; stock is .043.

Replace the serpentine belt, but before installing a new one, check the bearings for play in the idler, tensioner, alternator, water pump and power steering pulleys.

Check your dog bone shape engine mount that is up high on pass side; I think you will find the rubber bushing has fallen apart. By 130K, our ES350 was well into the 2nd of 4 dog bone mounts.

How do you change atf at the dealer?? Toyota and Lexus dealers refuse to do it, you need to have a good mechanic that knows the procedure. If you don’t know good mechanic, I would not do it at some random shop

If your Lexus dealer is refusing to do it, find another dealer. They should know how to do this. My dealer keeps recommending the ATF be changed despite the fact I haven't reach 100k miles yet, drive in hot conditions or tow.

And that's a hint: it is not recommended to be done...

Some members here believe it should be done at some interval. I am in the other camp, with dealers, roasting marshmallows

Its very possible that transmission will last 200k-300k without changing fluid... by that time no one cares what happens.
the fluid is synthetic, so it will last long time
