Frustrating 2010 Blue Tooth Connection Problem
My iphone was pairing well with the audio system on my 2010 ES350 but recently stopped pairing and I have tried to reconnect but have not been able to.
When I go through the set up pairing procedure the lexus screen shows pairing has been successful. My iphone 6 settings show "car multimedia" connected. Despite this I cannot play any of my music over the 350's audio system.
When a call is received the audio system signals it and can be handled on the audio system.
When I go into the audio stems Blue Tooth tab it displays phone not connected.
When I then press the connect button the screen shows a phone name i dont recognize, and when i press the connect button on the screen the screen shows cannot connect.
Can someone venture a guess as to what may be going wrong??

I would delete the phone out of the car's bluetooth list. I would delete the car out of the phones bluetooth list. Then re-try the pairing.
I don't have an iPhone or an ES350 with bluetooth but I've had to go through this silliness with my Android phone and my Expedition after the phone's firmware was upgraded.

Unfortunately you have been downgraded to a 07-09 ES lol. In my old car deleting the car off of my iPhone and unpairing the phone from my car then doing a hard reset on the phone allowed me to reconnect. Also when you go into your Bluetooth menu make sure under your car you have it setup for Bluetooth music and phone.
