My opinion on Pirelli Cinturato P7 Plus
About 10 days ago I replaced my Nokian All Season tires with the new Pirellis. Nokians were still ok, about 50% tread left but were starting to crack on the sidewalls and the ride of my ES didn’t seems very smooth and luxurious.
I had a tough choice to pick between new Michelins and these Pirellis. Despite claims of premature wear, I decided to go for the Pirellis. Am I ever glad I did.
Right from the beginning I noticed that my brakes are engaging better, the ride is more pleasant and most noticeably - my car is now very quiet. On good surfaces, the ES is super hash now, on broken pavement it’s still a bit loud but generally much better than before. The thing that surprised me the most is that now my 2010 ES 350 handles a lot more precise. Sloppy handling was my biggest complaint on the car but this has seriously improved. I was not expecting that. The car is not sporty by any means, but it is so much more grippy now.
I can’t speak on fuel economy yet, but I don’t expect huge change either way, but will report if it’s noticably different.
To sum it up; I am very happy with the purchase, and would highly recommend these Pirelli Cinturato to anyone with a Lexus ES 350.

Mine are V-rated. Couldn’t be happier with them so far. The most surprising fact is the handling improvement. Can’t get over how much better than previous set they are. Even my wife in passenger seat noticed the handling difference.

I've been running Michellin's MXV4-H's for years on my cars. That's what I currenty have now on my ES. I always wanted to go to "V's" but never wanted to take the chance they may "seem" too hard. I may check these P7's the next time as they look like decent tires. Thanks!

I had a set of Premiers. I enjoyed them, but what I don't like is that they only have a tread depth of 8.5/32" new. I didn't realize that when I bought them.
They are supposed to wear slower than standard tires, but I want normal tread depth - 11/32" - as I have to deal with heavy rain events in FL.
The premieres will always have less tread than a standard tire for a given mileage. I didn't get another set of Premieres when I bought new tires recently.
