Looking to purchase a es350. What year model is most reliable? I would also like to run regular gas as well.

in my opinion, lexus reliability peaked 99-05 before all the tech gadgets. in that era they were emphasizing longevity and reliability over tech and sexiness. they are still great cars, but those were near bullet proof (which is why you still see so many on the road),

My 2010 has never been in the shop since day of purchase (Nov 2009) and I’ve run 87 since my first tank of gas. There are many redundant threads on this forum about what type of gas to run. Do yourself a favor and just put 87 in it and forget about it.

I would say the last year of a series is the most reliable as they had taken all of the bugs out by then.

Hey guys, I appreciate all the replies. Glad to know I can run regular too.

I'l probably look for the cleanest model I can find in smokey granite.

Thanks
