Default Tire Pressure Sensor won't reset

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. I wanted to get some input on the following issue:

My tire pressure sensor came on. So I checked the tire pressure and 1 tire was low. I filled it up and drove to work and back for a couple of days, but the tire pressure sensor did not go off. So I went through the process of resetting the sensor and it still won't go off. Thoughts? Maybe the tire pressure monitor in one of my tires is bad? If so, is there a way to tell which one? or should I take it to Lexus?

If a sensor is bad, the tpms light should be flashing

My ES had this problem a while back and it was one of the TPMS sensor's and it was triggering these lights https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...ng-lights.html turns out it was just a bad TPMS sensor. Now once again my car is doing the same thing and I can't reset the sensor either...

I would check your spare tire if you have already done the following;

Good luck!

Yup, with the change in weather it was my spare tire. Only had 23 lbs in it. Once filled the light went off within a couple of minutes on its own.

I checked my spare and the pressure was down to 25psi. I think that was the problem. Thanks everyone!

Same issue here, spare tire had 23 psi. Tire store was supposed to fill it when they did a tire rotation and balance and forgot to. Seems like an easy thing to overlook, glad it causes the TPMS light to go on, at least I know the spare has air.
