I have a 2007 ES350 with Power memory door mirror
I am trying to figure out what I need to do since the power on the driver door mirror only works from left to right
it does not go up or down to adjust via power.
The Passenger side mirror works find in all 4 directions so I am thinking that the switch itself is fine because the only time I have problems with it is up and down for the driver door mirror so am I right in thinking that I have an issue with the mirror itself? Is the actuator possibly bad?
what should I be checking for?

 

does it go up/down when u put it in reverse with the mirror switch in center posn?

 

No it does not only the passenger side will go up or down via power it was doing this infrequently for the past 5 or so months and would start to work and then stop on its own no rime or reason. over the past 3 days, it hasn't done that it just won't work at all
if mind serves me correction center position is to stop it from going up and down when in revers having it to the left or the right is to allow it to adjust, isn't it? I know no matter what position it's in the mirror won't go up or down on the driver's door
