Question Is this a good deal on 2008 ES350?

Hello,

I am brand new at buying a used car. I owned an 2003 ES330 for 11 years and bought out the lease. I went to a minivan when the kids were young and now want to go back to Lexus. I'm looking for feedback on whether or not the selling price is fair (seems so by the KBB private party value), what questions to ask the seller and recommendations for things to watch out for. We'll have our mechanic look the vehicle over if we are interested in making an offer.

I found a 2008 ES350 on Craigslist, listed for $9700 (100k miles). I don't have much to compare it to to understand if this is a great deal or not but it sounds like the owner has put a bit of cash into it before selling. I've posted the link below but here is what the owner has shared: "The car in excellent mechanical condition, NO problems at all. I've just changed tires, break pads and rotors, cv axles and air filter. The body in good condition, no rust, no dents, non smoking, no pets. Very clean in and out. Never been in accident, all original parts. Car drives like new. We bought this car brand new and never had any mechanical problems with it, it's very reliable and gas efficient car. AUX/Bluetooth connection. Fully loaded."

Thanks for your help!

Does the car have navigation? It looks like it might not. The write up says fully loaded. Is it important to you?

The car looks nice but personally i think $9700 is a bit high asking price.
