When did Lexus start using this and how do I know ify car has this

Your generation ES doesn't have it, the current generation ES does, and my LS does. Started on the LS in 07, elsewhere in the lineup within 13-16 depending on the model.

It's nothing special at all. I find my LS is no more resistant to scratches than any other Lexus I've had.

I have a lot of stains running down the side mirros . Is this it rusting internally?? Should I try and spray behind the mirror ..!?

Both my mirrors are badly streaked like this and the best I've been able to do is wash, clay bar and then wax. Its nearly imperceptible once done. Ofc repeat every year...
