Post Having problems with scanning results

How's everyone? hope great. I just joined the forum and I'm having a few problems of which I'll appreciate suggestions and/or solutions from others who may have experienced the same thing. I own a Lexus ES 350 2010 model and recently I noticed check vsc with the check engine light, check master light and traction control light showing on my instrument panel/odometer. I did research online including here and saw several issues postulated that could be the problem. I tried the gas tank cap sealing properly option, Checked to see if it was tightened properly, checked to see if the rubber around had worn off and if the plastic around the cap had broken and everything seemed ok. Tightened the cap till I heard a click and nothing changed, the lights still show to date. Went to see two different mechanics were I reside and they scanned the car and it showed oxygen sensor back and front as the error code. They changed the O2 sensors, wiped off the code through the scanner and after a few minutes the lights were back up again. Spoke to another mechanic/electrician and he suggests it could be the catalytic converter and he suggests I bring it in for him to look at and change. Before I do this would appreciate any advise from others who have experienced this cause I don't want to take risks with my car. Anticipating answers or suggestions as soon as possible.
Thank you.

What were the EXACT codes (listed from top to bottom on the scantool)? Don't change anything else yet. It's unlikely that it's the cat, or both O2 sensors (be aware that there are two O2 sensors per cylinder bank) for that matter. A basic engine performance issue (such as a misfire) can trigger all the warning lights that you've mentioned.

I remember the first code is P0051, I forgot to write down the 2nd code. I'll get the exact code and reply again. But I remember seeing O2 sensor front and back 1.
Thank you for your quick responce, much appreciated.

Have the codes erased again and restart the car. List the codes in the order that they appear and then look at the options. As for the shop who replaced the O2 sensors I would ask for some money back as they did not fix the problem. Don't replace any more parts until you see what codes come back up.
