Default Well battery time came

Went out and moved the car yesterday and my cell phone wouldn't connect and then my inside trunk release wouldn't work. I put it in reverse and the backup camera would not work.So after studying the issue I concluded it to be battery related. Voltage was a 12V which was low for a battery at rest. Did a load test and it came up bad. So my OEM 2010 battery was on its way out . Jumped into my truck and got a new battery. Did a hot swap and put the charger on it for a few hours and everything returned back to normal. So 6 years seemed to be the limit. So here we are with 43K miles on a 6 year old car . Had to replace 4 tires at 35K and now a battery and most likely brakes and rotors. Maybe I'll get rid of it sooner then my 50K target but we'll have to see.

It probably won't make you feel any better, but my 2006 Acura TL with a 6MT needs tires and front brake pads every 30,000 miles...FWIW I drive pretty conservatively.

I have an 08 with 100,000+ kms on it. Still on the factory battery. My second set of pads and rotors need replacing again though.
