Hello,
I have a ES 350 and now that it is summer here in Texas, my a/c at times doesn't turn on automatically when I start my car. While driving over a pothole or a speed bump (causing a bounce to the car) the A/C turns on to the max and blows very cold, and typically for the rest of the day. It will again repeat the issue a few days later. The fan does blow cool air when the car is moving if the A/C is not kicking on.

Any idea as to what is causing this issue? Thanks for your help!

You might check to see if you have a loose or bad ground wire. I had that same problem on a car a few years ago and once I repaired the ground wire it worked perfectly.
