Default Bluetooth Add-On

I am sure this has been posted about but I didn't easily come across the thread so I thought I would share it anyway. Here is a Bluetooth Add-On option to any of your vehicles. This device acts as a bluetooth interface between your phone and the vehicles aux input. Cheap and Easy!

Center console of our 07 Lexus ES350.

I just got the same thing for my ES a few days ago. Works well but the volume is much lower than through just using the actual aux cable. Unfortunately this is a common problem with devices such as this. This Griffin adapter though does a good job with blocking out white noise.

Would you be so kind as to tell me precisely how to use this adapter. Does it have to plug into my phone? Sorry, I'm a girl and know nothing about this technology. Will appreciate your help.

Well, I went to a car audio stereo store today to have them put a bluetooth kit in for me. Price was $268 so I decided to wait awhile. Then, when playing around w/menu, etc. I discovered it had bluetooth for telephone. So now I have my phone synced w/my 2009 Lexus SC430. So happy. I previously had an '08 SC 430 and it had Bluetooth so I couldn't imagine why the newer one didn't. However, was told at the Lexus Dealereship that it didn't so I took them at their word. Laugh is on me I guess, but I told you before I'm a girl. LOL

The point is that with this device you don't need to plug in the phone to get music, it works as soon as you get into the car. Sounds trivial, but if you're running a few errands, dealing with that cable is a nuisance. I've also had an earphone jack fail in a phone from overuse like this. Apple is hinting that the earphone jack will go away in the next generation iPhone, BTW. I'd say this is definitely worth the $30, I'm gonna give it a try. Most phones you can set a trigger that at soon as it "sees" a particular Bluetooth connection, it can automatically launch into "driving" mode, and even start your music app and start playing.
