Default A/C Problem

I noticed the A/C was not blowing cold air. I also noticed oil spots on the driveway. I jacked up the car and there is oil coming from Evap drain line.
I bought a can of refrigerent with a gauge. The A/C was low. The car took the whole 18 oz and was still low. But blows cold air now. My guess is that the evaporator is leaking. Any other ideas?? Thanks

First keep an eye on the charge. If it continues to go down then you need to either take it to an AC shop or your dealer. The cost would depend on the problem. The down side is if they have to evacuate the system to find the leak then they won't be able under law to recharge it without fixing the leak. Some mechanics can test for leaks without evacuating the system so I would look for them. Now if you need to replace the evaporator please sit down before they give you the price. I would speculate between $1 and $2K.

Default A/c

Noticed oily water below drain line this morning. I did not drive the car today. I'll check when I get home today to see if there's any pressure and if it's blowing cold, but I'm goin to drop off at the mechanic Monday so he can diagnose the problem.

I'm actually getting that unusual dust coming through the vents which is supposedly an evaporator issue. I'm thankful that I bought an aftermarket warranty as I was told today that they have to go through the dash to get to it.

Default AC and electrical probs

So far the car is holding a charge..
But the car smells like refrigerant

But I'm also having other issues
I was idling the car in the driveway for about 5 min and then I went to go in reverse and the car turned off..
Also a couple days ago after starting to drive the hazard lights came on with interior lights without me touching anything.
After about a minute they went off
Sounds to me like a electrical issue
