Default Charcoal canister assembly replacement

Has anyone ever done it ?

I cant seem to find a guide on how to install it. Only on older models.

Ended up ordering the haynes manual from amazon. I will take pictures and give updates on how it goes.

Have 12 different evaporation codes coming up. Toyota and lexus both said it was the charcoal canister. Still havent received the guide though. So staying patient for now. It's just annoying having my dash all lit up.

Just out of interest.........do you have a W/O with the list of fault codes in order (from top to bottom) as shown on the scantool? If you do, how about sharing them?

It seems to me with 12 different codes you are fishing for the solution. If you didn't have it done yet I would suggest you have a "smoke" test done to find the problem. I am surprised that the dealers didn't suggest this .

Well mine is cracked, but I'm just wondering, can I use canister off other models? GS, IS, 430, 300?

You night check Camry (V6) and Avalon parts too.

You could probably find one in a junkyard and I bet a Camry one would be exactly the same. Just take a photo of yours to compare them.

Ended up picking one up for $100 CAD (same model) at a junk yard has worked fine ever since.
