Cleaning the interior

There isn't a ton of dirt inside my interior (it's in pretty darn good condition) but there are some darker spots that I would like to clean and make the interior look fully spotless.

What is the best way of cleaning the interior and with which product? I just bought Lexol cleaner and conditioner, but after reading the reviews I'm hesitant to try it on my beige seats.

What do other ES folks use?

I have the cashmere interior and mostly stick to Meguiars cleaner but stubborn marks from luggage, etc on seats, door sills or carpet - - -I use Simple Green to clean-- then leather wipes or an Armor All type treatment.

I've used the Mr. Clean magic eraser lubed with leather conditioner for stubborn stuff in the past. You have to be very gentle or you'll run right through that outer layer on the leather and it'll require replacement or repair.

Your seats are cashmere or leather?

I have a cashmere interior. I just cleaned it yesterday. I used a Woolite to water solution (1 part Woolite to 8 parts water). Using a white towel, and then rinsed with clear water about 2-3 times. Works and looks great.

Note that the Lexus Owner' manual recommends using a mild wool detergent solution also. (Even though Lexus sells a leather cleaner and conditioner).

I don't use a leather conditioner afterwards. Our seats are coated leather so conditioners really aren't that effective.

Cashmere is the name of the color of his leather interior. It's not the type of material. It's cashmere AND leather

I have parchment leather interior and have used the lexol without issue.
