Is this a Reasonable Price?

My local Lexus dealer has a sharp, 2012 EX 350, Ultra Premium Luxury package (NAV, ML stereo, etc.), with 41,000 km. Car is in great shape with Carproof showing no incidents. Interior is mint and the car looks very well maintained. Parking sensor option has been added. Asking price is $34k Canadian all in. Does this seem to be a reasonable price?

That's at least $8000 over.

I paid 17,000 Canadian for a base and has 73,000 km where in Canada are u looking in Ontario there quite a few look at auto trader stay away from the small dealership I usually buy from a reputable dealer ship

That is quite high of an asking price. The dealer needs to come down quite a bit.

But, does the "all-in" price include CPO/extended warranty?

ESh 05-08-15 09:39 AM

A see a lot for over $30000. That's sick.

Remember that the exchange rate is 20%. USA $ 28,000 approx.. This unit is listed on Autotrader. All Car dealerships in Canada inflate prices as well. That is the norm. With warranty I'd offer him $32,000 max. This unit is loaded and the parking sensors are std equipment. At least mine was.

I see a lot of 2013+ with a lot of toys for $27000+.

I looked on Autotrader.ca, so inflation doesn't matter. Even at $32,000 it's completely overpriced by $3-4,000.

Clarification

Thanks for the feedback. Perhaps I can be a bit clearer. This price includes: CPO, all taxes (13% GST), etc. but not an extended warranty. So... I pay $34k (approximately $30,500 +13% sales tax) and walk out the door with the car. Change any opinions? FYI - the dealer is a large Lexus dealership in the Greater Toronto Area.

CDN or US $$

Are you quoting US or Canadian dollars?

ESh 05-09-15 03:37 AM

US dollars.

Not in Canada. This one has all the toys not a lot of toys and only 41,000 kms. or 25,000 miles. Most new cars sold in Canada run much higher. Therefore used cars are higher as well. Oh don't forget the 20% exchange rate.

I rest my case.

Maybe not OTD, but has almost half the miles and is the newest model. You just have to shop.

Yes but shop wisely. The model you refer to appears to be a base model.

That's the furthest thing away from a base model if I've ever seen it....
It has the base 17" wheels, sure.

But other than that it has nav & all other features. You haven't seen a 5ES base model if you're making that claim.......

Leather wheel - no woodgrain anywhere, no rev. camera just a display for mileage [where navi screen is], and that syn. leather seating surface.
Here one FS

Mid-range seems to be woodgrain wheel/shifter, rev. cam & display

High-end, above, plus ML [if optioned] & nav & nicer wheels
