Default interior door hinge not working ???

Recently, i encounter a problem with my rear door interior door hinge, from inside, the lock and unlock works, but the hinge to open the door simply doesn't not work, i remove the door to see that the bicycle cable for the hinge move freely. I suspect that the cable in the actuator maybe dislocated or something. The motor works perfectly as the door locks and unlock engages.

I've seen some youtube videos about removing the actuator to see the mechanism inside and if the cable is dislocated,i can maybe replace it into place. I don't want to start looking for a replacement one since i sincerery don't think it is broken.

This is the piece i'm talking about:

Want do your guys think about the bicycle cable for the interior hinge moving freely, not pulling anything. The exterior door handle works and i can open the door, but not from the inside.

thank you in advance.

Maybe some of these diagrams will help. Looks like its a standard cable terminator lug which just pops in and out. Whether you can access it easily is another matter

thank you very much nevernu, the more infos i have, the better i will be able to tackle the job, i'm kind of diy on my car, repair some stuffs on the car saving alot of $$$ instead of going all the time to the dealer or mechanic. Some GS diy seems to agree with your diagram.

The worse is i have to replace with savage one if all goes wrong. I'm pretty sure that the cable in the actuator is dislocated since that part doesn't run with the motor.
