Default change battery ?

so i have been wondering about this for the past 15 months i have owned the ES for
for those of us with the Navigation option that has the maintenance screen where we can see what maintenance we should have done and miles or date of when it should be next done and stuff like that.
i am wondering about the Change battery or the Battery option.
on the menu
why the hell would they put that their ?
is it recommended that after a sertian amount of years you should have your battery changed even if its not bad ?
or what
im just wondering why the hell Lexus would waste a spot that could be better put for other options

Might this be a change battery for the fob and not the car? Even so, Lead Acid batteries have a limited service life (4-8 years in my past experience) so a reminder that it's getting older isn't a bad thing if you don't want to be stranded without starting power.
