Default Thoughts on throttle body fuel injector service?

Thoughts, was I being juiced? Came back to pick up the vehicle after getting standard oil change, and the service manager had advised me it would be wise to get it serviced additionally for a throttle body and fuel injector cleaning.

That would have been a pivot from coming in for a standard oil change to another $400 in service. I decided it wasn't necessary at the time and paid the cashier just for the oil change, but as I was reviewing the 50 pt inspection, they also suggested that the brake fluid be exchanged...

I would assume having the break fluid change be more of a priority than throttle body and fuel injector service...but still touchy subject. Did I do the right thing by just paying for the oil change?

I am a firm belive in the fact that break fluid is just fine being flushed out bleed breaks the old fashion way and then fill up again if
that the system itself is opened and air gets in it that another story.
i perssoanly would just check the level of break fluid and if its good its good next time you get the breaks repalaced if youw ant have them flush it.
even if you say no chances are the mechnaic will use the machines to flush the fluid because its easier then just bleeding the breaks manualy i have seen them hook up the machine and flush my breaks out twice in the past 5 years when i have told them no just anualy bleed them your not charigng me an extra 80 to do a break flush.

now the throtle body and fuel induction cleaning ar eyou saying they where going to charge you 400 for that ?
i think thw 3 times in the past 4 years that i have had that done each time at a Lexus Dealer the most i have paid was like 149.99 for that.
also if you have a costco membership go online and look for costco auto service discount google it you will find a place where you can put your membership info in and it will most of hte itme find the dealer in your area and get you 15% of service and parts not including oil changes batteries or tires but all other service and parts you will get hte discount on at the dealerhsip.

Thank you for your input and the tip on 15% discount with Costco membership. I figured when I replace my front and rear pads that I could do all the flushing/bleeding at that time.
