Default Transmission Flush by Toyota

Brought my 07 ES350 into Toyota dealer today with 104k miles. Was worried about oily coolant in reservoir. First I thought trans cooler is bad but when I popped a trans drain hose off, the trans fluid was just dark red (almost purple which means its starting to take in moisture). Luckily the fluid wasn't strawberry milkshake color which means coolant in trans fluid because of bad cooler. My motor oil is fine also.
Toyota dealer did a really good coolant flush for $170 and I stayed with the mechanic. He looked the whole vehicle over and told me everything I need to know. Even got the kids number for future tips. He and 4 other mechanics their said to let them do a transmission flush if I wanted to keep the vehicle long. They said Toyota/Lexus is high for saying to never clean that old fluid out. These mechs even said they will even help with some of the trans WS fluid and it will run $175 to do the flush. And I can watch them do it.
This is how a stealership should operate. I was about to do the flush the ghetto way. And yes flushing is ok with 100k miles if the fluid isn't terrible black. They said they have done vehicles which have never seen a flush in 200k miles and when they flushed it, it was perfectly fine. I now love my toyota mechanic shop and will use them for my spark plugs. I will snap photos of each step when we do the plugs. Save you that 120k service costing $500+. Networking!

My Toyota and Lexus dealers refused to do a transmission flush - refused my money. So I did it myself. Although I've had no problems, I agree that no oil lasts forever.
