My wife has the same sticky issue with her 2007 Lexus. The situation got so bad that the glare of the stickiness would reflect on the driver's side of the windshield and obscure the view to the point of impairment. I made a complain to the dealer and was extremely dissatisfied with their response. Even with a warranty, it would cost a great deal of money to replace or repair the dashboard. Its madness. We intend to get rid of the line of Lexus altogether, and move to a different make of vehicle. The consumer affairs should be aware of this issue and warn potential buyers before investing in Lexus vehicles. I will not recommend anyone at this point to buy a Lexus.
