Playing podcasts from Android phone through Bluetooth???
Hi Everyone,
Last weekend, I purchased a 2007 ES350 (Royal Red) with Premium Plus including Nav (non-ML stereo). I have no problem using bluetooth for phone calls, but can I also play my podcasts through the bluetooth. If so, how???
Until I hear otherwise, I'm stuck using an auxiliary audio cable which isn't satisfactory. For one, I get background noise when I simultaneously charge the phone. Second, I get loud crackling sound with movements of the cable jack in the phone.
Congrats on your new ride and welcome to the board!
Try searching for this topic in the forum and you'll get lots of relevant information. With that, you can't stream audio through BT using only factory radio. You will need GROM, VIAS or other aux adapter to do so...
+1 on igzy's statement. I have a 2007 with ML. All the research I did led to the same conclusion. No BT audio from the phone. I purchased a high quality aux cable that has ferrite cores. I have no audio issues whatsoever streaming podcasts from my iPhone. You can probably pick up something at Radio Shack.
