They work just fine for a break they do their job
But if you were asking me if I'm happy with them now
Not really sure what it is but they just don't seem the same I feel that the OEM where a little better smoother quieter

The Akebono seems to be a bit more noisy

I really wish that EBC made front and rear pads for the ES350 and or Camry
but they only make front so i can't go with them

i have decided next time i nee breaks ill spend the extra 75 and go to the dealer

Here is my experience with brakes. Generally all brake hardware can be reused on Toyotas, u just replace the pads. Looks like Justbrakes threw away your original hardware. If the proper hardware or pads are not used, the brakes may start squealing after sometime. For brakes, I try to stay with OEM pads and a toyota dealer can do the job for lesser than Lexus (They usually have specials for <200 per axle, pads and resurfacing)

Default Lexus ES350 2013 System Check during Start up?

Good Afternoon Folks,

Does anyone know exactly what the ES350 2013 looks for during it's system check during startup? Basically does it check brakes, engine failures, headlights etc? I would like to get a feel for how in depth or NOT the system check is??

Well it looks like some of the mileage maintenance will start to come. I just turned 44K miles and about a month ago started to get feedback in the steering wheel . Typical of rotor warp age so I guess it's time to do the rotors. I took a quick look with my inspection camera and it looks like there is still a lot of brake pad left but until I open it up I won't know. So I just picked up a set of rotors and some ceramic pads and when I get the time I'll have to do the change. I'll assume this will be the last front brakes to do but I also assume that the rears will be coming soon. Oh rotors and pads with my discount was $113. I guess it's getting time to start looking for a replacement car. Most likely next year when I hit 50K miles.
