Sorry to learn of your rusting issue. I have since owned my 2008 for a year now and have had no issues with rust yet, Lexus rust corrosion warranty is 6 years, unlimited mileage. Did you try taking it up with Lexus Canada directly since you have had rusting issues all along? I think Lexus really cheaped out on the metal used on trunks with their recent offerings. I have witnessed quite a few late year RXs developing rusts on the trunk as well., no where else though. Good luck and keep us posted.

I have a similar issue with a 09 ES, which is near the licence plate. Will take it to the dealer shortly to get fixed, as its still under rust warranty.
