Power Steering Pump
 

Anyone had any issues with a loud steering pump? My wife took the car to work today and while I have noticed a slight noise from the power steering pump at idle (and more noticeable under higher RPMS) I had a chance to hear it outside the car. I have checked the fluid level - surprise, it's fine. Anyone else ever had this? I'm guessing the dealer will cover it (whatever it is) under the CPO warranty. Will keep everyone posted.

Had the same issue on a 3 series BMW I had. In the forums it was either the fluid or the Pump. I went cheap and changed the fluid out myself with that they recommended in the forum. Cleared it up! Got lucky. Pump would be a bit more expensive!
