Default Illuminated Door Sills for 07-09 Es350.

I've recently have been looking into illuminated door sills for my 07 ES350 with no luck. I found a set for the 10-12 models on Aliexpress.com I added a link below:

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/free-...658120900.html

I asked the seller if they had a sill for the 07-09 model and he said its not available.

He said if there is enough of a demand for them he will make a mould and make some for the 07-09 model. What I'm looking for is about 20 plp that are interested in buying sills, maybe someone that can send me a 3D picture of a front and back sill to send to the manufacture.

I wouldn't think there is any difference at all to from 07/09 to 10/12 sills. They didn't change the whole body, just the lights and a few trim pieces.

Sounds to me like he's trying to bump his sales by catching you and 20 others in buying the same product.

I asked for dimensions first and those ones were almost double in width and both back and front were shorter, I was tempted to order these and try to fit them.

I would definitely be down to order one, if the price is right!

Don't forget factory ones have the metal part within the plastic. To me, those don't look much bigger than the whole assembly of metal and plastic on my 07.

All I measured was the stainless within the plastic and the dimensions he gave me were shorter than those, close to 1.5 inches shorter than the whole assembly.

I found a set for the lx models I'm waiting of him to get back to me with dimensions, these ones have the plastic around the edges and illuminate blue.

I thought I would post the dimensions of the kit above, after measuring there too wide.

The fronts are: 22" x 3 1/8"
The Back: 10" x 3 1/8"

But I found this kit of the lx and asked for the dimensions and they are:

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/illum...758374699.html

Front: 26" x 1 3/4"
Back: 16 3/4" x 2" to 2 3/4" (they taper).

Are factory dimensions are:

Front: 22" x 2 1/4"
Back: 13 1/2" x 2 1/4"

Check them out and let me know what you think.

the LX ones are 4" longer in the front and 3.25" longer in the back...those will not work.

The original set you posted is smaller but wider in the back and same but wider in the front. By the difference in dimensions it looks, to me, like they're supposed to replace the whole assembly, both metal AND the plastic tray that it sits in.

The door jam it sits on isn't even 3 1/8" wide they will over hang, I don't think them being a bit longer will make a big deal, I think it would be better than the shorter ones and not show and ware around the factory ones that might be there.

I do understand that they replace the whole assembly metal and plastic. The original set I posted are 3 1/8" wide and the jam it sits on is 2 3/4".

Looking at the OEM door sill part #'s, they are all the same for 07-12 ES350. Do they have any pictures of these installed on an ES350?

Here's a picture from edmunds of a 2011 and it doesn't look any wider than the one on my '08

oh and just picked up an '08 ES350
