don,t kniw if youve already dealt with back up camera but two issues on my 2008 ES350 with no nav.

want to add back up camera but something tells me i am better off adding indash nav at the same time to avod dopey sticking out screen off of front dash.

 

not sure what you're looking for here...but you'll have to find a good double din kit to house that aftermarket nav. That will be the easiest way to go rather than retrofitting a camera and screen.

Or, you could find one of the backup cameras that has a new rearview mirror with the screen in it.

Personally, I don't find the ES super hard to see out of so I don't need a camera, but to each their own.

 

I have nav, and I have to say, the camera is nice to have.....

 

I've added a backup camera to a Camry and it was easy. It was a $20 model that connected to a double DIN Pioneer. I have the same Pioneer in my '07 (it was a non-nav) so it should be just as easy.

 

I know that this is a very old thread, but would you be able to point me in the right direction to installing a backup camera to a 2008 ES 350 without nav?
