Service
Hi All...
Bought a certified ES 350 a few months ago - and it's time for something called the 50,000 mile service appointment. Sounds like basically an inspection, oil change and rotation for the tidy sum of $159.00. I know I have to do routine oil changes - but in order to keep my certified warranty - do I have to do their reccomend ones as well? Sounds like nothing but pure profit to me, and I'd like to avoid it if possible. Thanks for the tips! |
Just get the oil change, and rotate tires if you want to. I usually rotate mine every 10k and oil change every 5k. Don't ask for the XX,000 mile service, because all they do is inspect items you can mostly inspect yourself, and charge a big mark-up. Just ask for the items you want done a-la-carte. It will not void your warranty as long as the actual services (oil change for example) are performed.
