There is also a very large "dead center spot" where you can move the steering wheel left or right but it doesn't move the wheels.

The power steering is fine at lower speeds, but there seems to be way too much boost at higher speeds. Do you have any ideas how to change that? I've read some different ideas, from lowering the voltage that goes to the power steering using a resistor, to putting a thickening agent into your power steering fluid (that sounds dangerous / could damage the power steering) - but I've also heard it is relatively easy to swap in a power steering rack from a different car.
Ahhh, I'm tracking. I agree it is fairly non responsive steering; for me it still doesn't warrant that level of a change. If there was a quick, bolt-on solution I'd be interested but not that much of an involved solution. Again, I'm not tacking my ES to the track every weekend.

I just lowered my 2008 ES 350 with the H&R kit (1.4/1.3) for a 2008 Camry V6. Threw some new KYB struts in there and it rides awesome!

does slamming the car down with the coil overs or lowering springs cause stress on any other parts ?

i am trying to figure out a plan on what im doing
I have an idea but probably going to be latter in the year when i get it done
cause i got a plan that is going to run me at least 4k
for rims tires and lowering
but not sure if lowering it is really the right route for me
want to know how all will affect the car i know the 20s when ever i have put them on any rides the performance on handling gets better
but i know i tear through some parts faster also like i know i have run through front end parts faster in some cars i have put upgraded wheels on because of the extra weight they are adding more stress so wondering how is the Lexus components with the heavier bigger wheels and lowered components ?

im planing on 20s or maybe 22s
i know im looking at some Strasse forged wheels
for this ride

Want to get rid of some of the gap in the wheel wells. Wondering if you could tell me which kyb struts you used. How much did the lowering effect the ride quality?
Thanks ahead of time for the info!
