2010 ES350..does NAV option include ML audio upgrade??
Reading the current brochure for the new 2012 ES 350 gives me the impression the NAV is packaged with the Mark Levinson Audio upgrade.
Did the 2010 ES 350 with NAV come with the ML audio upgrade???

I'm pretty sure all Ultra Luxury optioned cars have the Nav and ML.
But for non-UL cars, if you get Nav, it's still the standard audio - not ML.
From what I can tell, if you want the ML audio, you need to get the UL package... and that has the Nav & ML bundled.
Earlier years might have had the ML audio (with Nav) as a separate option from the UL package, but as mentioned, it's impossible to find if such exists.
While looking for an ES a while back - it seemed that about 65% of of them for sale were base models with no Nav, 25% of them had the Nav and some other assorted features (sunshade, rain-sensing wipers, etc..) and the remaining 10% were UL with everything. And of course the few ULs I found were either in a color I absolutely hated or had high miles.

Matt..thank you for your reply and your own experiences during you search.
The ideal situation it would seem is to find a private seller and agree to a fair price where both could benefit.
The problem is finding one.... Did you ever come across any sources of private owners listings???

A ML is not a given with an Ultra. When using cars.com surfing across the country for a specific color. I found many without. I ended up finding a 2010 (along with dealer installed chrome wheels)
at an out-of-state luxury car lot run by an old friend I've purchased many cars from.....small world.

Every Ultra I have run across has the navigation / ML system. Probably a dealer order thing. Here is a rare one: real estate agent has a 2007 black ES350 with black cloth interior. No extra options at all - just the standard ES350 as it was equipped by the factory.

The ultra has ML, bottom line. If cars are showing on cars.com as Ultras without it...they are improperly listed...

Hang in there guys I'll find you one. When I was on the hunt for a 2010 red Ultra last summer.....they were out there. There was a red one in TX and another on the east coast (yup dual roofs, XM antenna on the trunk, Ultra wheels)(no ML logo in the photos of the center dash) that were on the short list before the one close to home came up. The pickings are slim on cars.com right now.

One or two that might have been a special order...I have never seen an ultra that didn't have ML.

In my experience looking for UL w/ ML I found several UL's without the ML systems so you need to check. One of the best ways to tell are the ML designation on the wood surface right below the nav screen, see the attached. Also the ML has the rear door tweeters visible near the door handles (as well as mids in the dash and surround in the rear deck). In my search for a 2011 I found two UL's locally without ML and two UL's with so don't assume that all UL's have the ML system. Best of luck in your search, these are great cars, I have had mine for a year now and the more I drive it the more I enjoy it.
