Has anyone added more lighting to the interior of your ES? My girlfriend's car is an 07 and the amount of usable light inside the car is sub-par. It seems those LEDs dont put out that much from the factory. Any upgrades? I was thinking about cutting holes in the overhead console to install additional LEDs to complement the existing ones.

You can change the foot well, glove box and center console lights to white for more lighting. I also added more light by installing 12 smd LED panels into my vanity mirrors and flip the mirror when I need more light.

Ok thanks. I may do a custom job myself. It seems even if you change out the oem ones with brighter ones its the holes that inhibit light to pass through effectively. Looks like a late summer project in the making.

I've had the over head console apart and there is a plastic filter that the light passes thru, if you remove that filter and install some 10mm white LEDs the protrude thru the console a tiny bit that may provide some more light to Lexus' poor design. The holes the light come Thru should fit a 10mm flat top led perfect and still look OEM and hopefully light up the interior a bit more.
