Better warranty? I thought they were all 4 years / 50K miles bumper-to-bumper?

I didn't drive a LaCrosse. When I was looking, it had just come out and dealerships had only 1 or 2 cars at best. Then there was a production delay and it was several weeks before they started receiving them in any quantity. Same thing with the Audi Q5 which I was interested in at the time.

I just got a new Consumer Reports today and see that Reliability on the LaCrosse is Below Average.

Thanks. Love it too. Esp on a sunny today up her in the Northeast. Candy Apple Red. At the Lexus party today, they had an ES350 exactly like ours and a LS460 with the optional chrome wheels. Outstanding combination!

After giving the new one a car wash yesterday, here are some things I noticed over the 2007: front bottom fascia seems a little cheaper (black plastic) but should take road wear better. I like the high gloss black finish on the front mirror triangle trim (just before the mirror), love the spoiler and body side molding, like the silver wheels versus the Ultra's graphite color wheels - at least I can touch up curb rash easily with the silver color, the graphite color was impossible to find, the rear fender well "padding" is now a composite board feel versus the sponge sound blocker, which should clean up easier. Lexus did a nice job of adding the right amount of chrome and updates. Also, no more "ticking" of the engine on cold mornings that I had since day one with the 2007. Never went away but never caused any problems either.

I like the optional wire type OEM wheels as seen on the accessories list.

Yesterday I received an email from Lexus of Melbourne (FL). Their asking price for a 2011 ES350 is $5K off, with 20 in stock.

Does that include the Lexus Loyalty rebate of $1,000 plus another $750 Lexus year end rebate?
