Default I don't get it - who would buy a 2012 ES?

If I understand this correctly, the 2012 Camry is coming out with a complete redesign shortly but the Lexus division will later come out with a 2012 ES350 based on the old Camry design? Presuming advancements have been made, why would this happen and who would buy a 2012 ES350?

The 2012 GS was revealed today and I must say it's extremely nice indeed. I suspect, the ES will have some similar design 'theme'....Here's the link to the GS, it's killer:

I really like the looks of the new GS too. It's a departure from the current L Finese styling and shows Lexus new direction. I agree that the new ES will probably share some of these cues.

I might be tempted to trade up my 09 for the restyled ES...or maybe I'll save up for the GS??........on second thought that could be a long savings plan...

How much can you stash away between now and February? I think that's when the new GS will be available.
