Default Should I be worried?

I wish I'd known about this site before I purchased my car but you live and learn. Looking at the service history, it's got more entries than I would have thought. Roughly 40 visits or so over a 4 year history. Most are not troubling but it did have the cam timing oil control valves replaced at around 6K miles. Couple of entries about non-warrantable codes, not sure what that is. And 5 or 6 times where it just said Body(window/door). I love the car and knock on wood I've had no trouble but just don't know if that number is a lot over that time period or normal. Anything to worry about? 36K miles now BTW.

I would be a little concerned about that number of service visits. I drive my ES's a little less than 40,000 miles and rarely have more than just one or two service events other than oil changes every 5,000 miles. That is why I love these cars. Just keep an eye on your car and if you continue to have a lot of service issues you might want to purchase a platinum warranty before your manufacturer's warranty runs out.

Good luck - they are good cars.

To be fair, they weren't all bad. One was for the spoiler being put on, one for the wheels and tires being put on, etc. And it has had all the mileage checkups, etc. I just found it odd to have a repair like that under 6K miles. Thanks, I'll keep my eye on it.

The last oil change on my car showed up as non-warrantable service on the Service History. Could that be the same as on your report? On mine, not sure why they didn't just list it as an oil/filter change.

Sounds to me the previous owner did a good job of sucking warranty service. I'd suspect they just liked the free lunches, car washes and waiting area wi-fi, haha...

Kidding aside if all that work has already been done and you can't notice anything wrong with it then I'd consider the repairs complete. There are a couple threads about after market warranty, use the search tool - maybe an extended warranty would give you a little more piece of mind.

Thanks, appreciate that. There were a few wash and detail visits, maybe that's what it was lol

Uh huh! Sounds to me like the previous owner was super **** about the car. I have a couple friends like that. They want their stuff to be perfect and will except nothing less. Good for them...bad for the folks who except their requests for service.
