I just bought a 2008 ES350 and it came with an all-leather wheel and a leather and chrome shifter. All of the other ES350's on the lot had the wood/leather wheel and shifter. Is this pretty uncommon? It had all of the same features and options as the rest, with this exception.

 

The full leather steering wheel and chrome/leather shift **** combo seems to be few and far between unfortunately.

Consider yourself lucky. In my opinion the odd reddish wood trim in the pre '10 models is bad enough without adding it to the wheel as well. The dark brown walnut trim on the later models is more expensive looking.

 

i love the wood in my es, with out it, it would be just another boring ivory interior

 

My wife has the all leather wheel and of course I do on my F. On hot Arizona I much prefer it to the wood.
