Default Nav directed me to get off at every exit!

I know that there is a option in Setup/Navigation to avoid freeways, toll roads, ferries, etc., but I have nothing checked to avoid. While driving down the Garden State Parkway, (which is a tolled road,) my 2010 350 Nav directed me to get off at every single exit on that parkway for about 100 miles! If I were a real moron, I would have spent the day driving off the ramp just to go back onto the parkway, off the parkway, onto the parkway, etc., etc.

Also, as I was constantly driving, I could not check any options to stop this from happening. Could it also have to do with what speed I was driving (approx. 75mph)? You know, where you enter the speed mph on certain roads? I do remember entering it at a lower rate of speed.

By the way there were no other previous destination points entered in the nav anywhere near where I was going.

Ideas anyone?

I'm not sure, but it sounds like it's trying to have you turn around for some reason. Maybe an old destination in the system?

Was there a "Route" button on the map screen? If so, you could have touched that, even while driving, then select delete route. Or you could press the menu button, select volume, and turn off the annoying GPS guidance voice...

RIGHT TURN NOW !!!!

That commercial cracks me up.

Even with these NAV systems...my rule of thumb is to still have a good idea of where I'm going regardless.
Granted they will always get you where you want to go....but not always the best way.

Sounds like you have Toll roads disabled, the setup is actually "Check to allow", not avoid. Good luck.
