I haven't posted for awhile but I'm still enjoying my '07 ES350. Only 28k miles and it's almost paid for! Anyway, I want to upgrade to the lastest navigation dvd and was wondering if anyone knows if the small plastic cover that hides the dvd map slot could be replaced with one from an 2010 or 2011 model. The center stack looks the same to me but I'm not sure. The newer models have a nicer looking wood finish and I thought it might be a simple way to spruce up my '07. Any thoughts please? Thank you

I can't find it in our parts lookup software as being sold seprately from the center stack peice. Which comes with the nav screen. You don't want to know the price of that.

If the piece fit, would the wood tone match? It seems like the colors of the wood are different in the 2010 and 2011 vs. the 2007.

Good call. I bet it would fit - but it wouldn't match the other wood and would look pretty dumb.

I was thinking along the same lines and asked my dealer if the 2010 piece would fit on my 2007. He checked and said that they are not interchangable.

I would have bought one from him if it was. Even if not exact, the wood color would probably match the existing wood better than the gray plastic does.

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts. I had a feeling the 2010 part might not fit the '07's. I'll just have to be content with the upgraded navi dvd.
