Mark Levison sound imbalance
I have a 2007 ES350 with a Mark Levison sound system. I don't drive it much and I've noticed a potential problem with the balance of the sound. When you balance the system (front to back and left to right) with the surround sound turned off, it balances nicely with the 'lines' on the display screen about centered up and down (for front and back) and left and right (for left side and right side). HOWEVER, when you select surround sound the front/back balance needs to be almost all the way towards the back for the sound to sound balanced from the driver's seat. The ES doesn't have the 'auto balance from a seat position' like the GS does. Anyone else experience this? If not, I would greatly appreciate someone trying it out, at your convience, and replying.
