I appreciate that. The was exactly my aim, subtle yet tasteful. It's a dance between form and function on a small scale. It's a luxury fwd sedan. It doesn't exude aggression from the get. So how can I enrich it's purpose? I dislike the front end of this car and there's, to my knowledge, only 1 kit out there for it. I don't like it either. So the direction was to work with what was given. I've been into lips (wheels and women) since I was a kid. My first car had 12" Epsilons on it (1986/87 Nissan Z31, still have it sans the Epsilons). Lips were a tell-tell sign of hp (horse power). Now, it's a fad. Could do a VIP treatment but I reserve that for my 1990 Nissan G50. VIP programs are to be unique. The ES is one of, if not the, most sold sedans here in the US. So, to me, it only made sense to go with no lip staggered. The Teins actually have the rear sitting lower than what you see. I tweaked the rear to sit like that. Also solved my rubbing issues. It's always in the subtleties that make things tasteful. When it comes to autos, there's definitely a thing as "too much".
